Here’s How it Works
1. Fill out the form below to enter your band in the Battle of the Bands, presented by Big Woody’s Bar and Grill. You must be a member of the band you are making a submission for and the band must be based within the FM99 listening area to enter. (Where’s that? It’s in the rules.) The deadline for entries is March 16th, 2014 at 11:59pm.
2. A panel of FM99 judges will select nine bands from the online entries to compete in a series of live battles at Big Woody’s Bar and Grill. On line voting will be a part of the criteria to pick the winners (see the rules). Voting begins March 17th, 2014. The nine finalists will be announced on March 26th.
3. The nine finalists will be divided into three groups of three. Group One will complete on April 2nd, Group Two will compete on the April 9th, and Group Three will compete on April 16th. One winner from each group will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced the day after each competition.
4. The three group winners will compete on April 23rd where the Battle of the Bands winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. The winner will be announced on April 24th.
