Welcome to the 2017 FM99 Lunatic Luau Battle of The Bands! One of these bands below will open Lunatic Luau 17 at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater on May 5th. You can start voting on 3/20 at 10am.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

1. Enter your band for a chance to be part of FM99’s Battle of the Bands below. You must be a member of the band you are making a submission for and the band must be based within the FM99 listening area to enter. Check the rules for where that is. The deadline for entries is March 19th, 2017 at 11:59pm.

2. A panel of FM99 judges will select nine bands from the online entries to compete in a series of live battles at Big Woody’s Bar and Grill. Online voting will be a part of the criteria to pick the winners (see the rules). Voting begins March 20th at 10am. The nine finalists will be announced on March 29th.

3. The nine finalists will be divided into three groups of three. Group One will compete on April 5th, Group Two will compete on the April 12th, and Group Three will compete on April 19th. One winner from each group will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced the day after each competition.

4. The three group winners will compete on April 27th where the Battle of the Bands winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. The winner will be announced on April 28th and will open Lunatic Luau May 5th!
