WNOR/Grand Furniture “Big Game Home Invasion” Rules 2013

How to enter and participate:

Beginning 1/14/13, participants may enter the contest on FM99.com by going to the FM99/Grand Furniture “Big Game Home Invasion” contest page and filling out the form. Participants may also enter the contest by going to any local Grand Furniture location and filling out the form on site and depositing it into the entry box provided. Locations are as follows:

1591 Crossways Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23320; 836 E. Little Creek Rd., Norfolk, VA 23518; 5129 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462; 3283 Western Branch Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23321; 2318 W. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, VA 23666; 12097 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA 23606.

Entry Deadline:

Online form must be filled out by 1/27/13 at 11:59pm. In-store entries must be filled out by 1/24/13 at 9pm.

 When prizes can be won :

Winner will be notified on 1/30/13.

The extent, nature and value of the prizes:

One winner will win the following item:

A big screen TV from Grand Furniture (Haier 32” 720P LCD HDTV, Model # L32B1120, SKU# 830120032, Retail Value of $499).
A Grand Furniture gift certificate valued at $250 to be used for a recliner or towards a furniture purchase of winner’s choice.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages for 10 people (valued at $50) for party at winner’s home with FM99 Rock Girl Gina on 2/3/13 for the Big Game.

Basis for valuation of the prizes :

Grand Furniture provided value of their prizes.

Food and beverage value based on average price of sub tray

Prize Substitution:
Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. WNOR reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.

Time and means of selection of winner (and/or tie breaking procedures):

On 1/28/13, WNOR staff will conduct a preliminary random drawing of all entrants received.  This drawing will be non-public for the purpose of selecting a potential winner.  One potential winner will be chosen. That person’s name will be provided to Grand Furniture so that they can verify that the potential winner does not have an outstanding account with Grand Furniture that is more than 90 days past due.  In the event Grand Furniture determines that the potential winner is not qualified to win the grand prize, Grand Furniture will provide to WNOR staff proof, to the absolute satisfaction of WNOR staff, that the potential winner is not qualified.  If WNOR staff agrees that the potential winner is not qualified, WNOR staff will select at random another entrant and the same qualification process will be followed.  If WNOR staff disagrees with Grand Furniture, the prize will be awarded to the potential winner, notwithstanding Grand Furniture’s objection. This process will continue until a qualified entrant is chosen.  That person’s name will be announced on 1/30/13 as the winner.  This will be the first time the winner’s name will be announced to the public.  Drawings and qualification processes shall be non-public and in the complete discretion of WNOR staff

Eligibility restrictions:
One entry per person. Entrants must be 21 or older and live in Virginia and North Carolina residents within range of the WNOR air signal. Winner may not have an outstanding account with Grand Furniture.

Winner is responsible for any and all local, state or federal taxes.  WNOR will provide any winner receiving a prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year an IRS Form 1099.

Prize Availability:
The big screen TV will be delivered to the winner’s home by 2/3/13. The recliner will be awarded in a form of a gift certificate on 1/30/13.

UPICKEM RULES
No purchase necessary. One valid entry per contestant.

You must be 21 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If fm99 cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.

Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.

fm99 reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

fm99 reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.

Employees of fm99, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Entrants further grant to fm99 the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

fm99 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or fm99. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

UPICKEM and fm99 are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
